self-presentation, networking skills,
interpersonal skills and communication
skills are taught. Summer and winter
training projects combine academic
inputs with practical training. They

experience in various career
opportunities while helping students
make career choices in real work

SCOPE:
The ITI runs training courses on various
trades for duration of one year & two
years and on successful completion of
the training as also on passing the
qualifying examination the trainees are
awarded certificates (National Trade
Certificates) by the National / State
Council for Vocational Training. The
concerned certificate has all India
recognition and appointments in various
Govt., departments and PSUs, especially
Railways are made on basis of this
qualification. On passing, the trainees
have good assurance of getting jobs.
